Crush the coaching business!

20120614-tution-460.pngI was imagining this scenario - My sons and daughters have stopped going to several private tutors rather they are rising early in the morning. They will say their prayers peacefully without any thought of going to the private tutors chasing them at that pristine time. After the prayer they will read religious books to recharge their moral domain. Then they will browse internet to read daily newspaper to keep themselves abreast of the happenings from home and abroad and write their feelings on social network websites to share their high ideals with others and be inspired by others high ideals and feelings.

Then they will read text books before going to school so that they can properly understand the topics to be taught by the teachers. No more huffing and puffing because they need not go to the private tutors. Their class teachers are going to teach them sincerely without thinking about private tuition. If the students can not understand a topic either they will browse internet or e-mail the teachers concerned for the answers. Both the teachers and the students will then have ample time to ’stand and stare’ at the beauties of nature and life.

In the afternoon, they need not go to the private tutors; rather they will either play with their friends or go to their relative’s house. They will then give more time to their parents, grand fathers and grand mothers achieving more ‘dua’ and feedback from them. Besides, parents will be spared of the tension and money entailed in private tuition. The present government policy against the coaching business run by the teachers induced me to dream this dream.

I wonder whether my dream will be stolen by the sinister syndicate of teachers going against this policy and the government treating the errant teachers with kid gloves without thinking about the greater interest of the nation.
