In fact from the elementary level we grow up learning that, “life is not a bed of roses .” But is it only me who finds life so easy? Or it’s actually easy? I am referring to the life that is totally wrapped up with the internet! Details…

Right to food, shelter, clothing, education and health issue

Because you had laid down in Art. 15 to ensure right to food, shelter, clothing, education and health you did not make it a mandatory provision. For the violation of fundamental rights like equal opportunity and discrimination, one can sue against the state in Higher courts to retain those. In Bangladesh the GoB does not need to obey it, as it is not a fundamental right.

There was drawback. There were many debates relating to this economic social and cultural right. The debate was inaugurated by the Russians, and later the Chinese. Many sates tried to obey right to life comprising these rights. Details…

Every leader is an artist

Mahamudul Hasan (sumon). | 28 August 2012 10:05 pm

stick_figure_drawing_people_leader_md_wm.jpgThe connection between leadership and art has been made many times over, usually as a way to single out certain properties of the arts that carry over to leadership, such as a jazz musician’s ability to create through improvisation. These analogies can be compelling, but my point is more ambitious: leadership is an actual art, not metaphorically an art. Details…

As you know most of the communities (such as Bengali) in this sub-continent (Indian) are covered by ‘Culture of Poverty’ (Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody seriously condemn or ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst politico-governance, bad work place, weak mother language, continuous consumption of common social space (mental as well as physical, both). Abdus Subhan | 2 July 2012 7:34 pm

They will say their prayers peacefully without any thought of going to the private tutors chasing them at that pristine time. After the prayer they will read religious books to recharge their moral domain. Then they will browse internet to read daily newspaper to keep themselves abreast of the happenings from home and abroad and write their feelings on social network websites to share their high ideals with others and be inspired by others high ideals and feelings. Unfortunately, after four decades of independence, the quest for equality in access and opportunities has remained elusive for the education system of Bangladesh. People from poor socio-economic and marginalised groups are not enjoying equality of educational opportunities. Truly speaking, they are excluded from all level, primary to university, of our educational planning. Details…
