Six months after the change in management, the pioneering crocodile farm is in limbo. Crocodiles are kept crammed together with no heating facility for many months. Feeding has gone down. No records are being kept to hide the facts. The perimeter fencing has broken down in many places.  It may be noted that Reptiles Farm Ltd. is the only CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) registered commercial crocodile farm in entire SAARC region. It is home of more than 900 crocodiles. Bangladesh Bank, as the major equity holder, should come forward and save their flagship project for equity via Entrepreneurship Fund.
