Srejon Sharfenul | 7 November 2012 9:20 pm

Intel core i3, core i5, and core i7 CPUs have been around for over a year now, but some buyers still get stumped whenever they attempt to build their own systems and are forced to choose among the three. With the more recent Sandy Bridge architecture now on store shelves, we expect the latest wave of buyers to ask the same kind of questions. core i3, core i5, core i7 — the difference in a nutshell If you want a plain and simple answer, then generally speaking, core i7s are better than core i5s, which are in turn better than core i3s. Obama, the president of “hope and peace” around the world

Md.Zahidul Islam Milton | 7 November 2012 8:57 pm

First of all, I want to thank all the US voters for choosing the real leader of the time around the globe. Needless to say that I did monitor and analyse the US election procedure for a long time being a student of “Political Science as well as Journalism” and accordingly I did forecast last week in the on-line/social media finally that Obama will be re-elected in the presidency no doubt and hope, I’m the first person in the world to felicitated and congratulate Him in advance for his winning. Good luck Obama, the black Diamond and have my salute to bring back hope, peace and political stability around the world in near future irrespective of religion, country, caste or sex.

US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS 2012

ARANYA SYED

The Presidential Elections will take place today (06/11/12) in the United States of America (USA) where the incumbent President Barack Hussein Obama, representing the centre-left Democratic Party, will contest against Governor Willard Mitt Romney, who will represent the centre-right Republican Party. This will be the 57th Presidential Elections in the country’s history and will coincide with the House of Representatives (Congress) and Senate Elections.

This election has been widely reported to be one of the most important and consequential in the history of the country – which is regarded as the leader of the “free”/democratic world – due to not only the challenges that the country faces but also because of the significantly different directions that the two candidates have campaigned to take the country towards. Super storm Hurricane Sandy might cost Obama- not the Presidency

Md.Zahidul Islam Milton | 1 November 2012 9:31 am

fotoflexer_photo.jpgMd. Zahidul Islam (Milton)- Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Being a student of Politics and Journalism, I’m more curious researching/analysing a lot about the forecast of the forthcoming US election which to be held on 6th November’12. I’ve already written earlier in another article before approaching/hitting the super-storm that Hurricane Sandy may turn into the Political Storm in USA but now my decisive/final prediction is that Hurricane Sandy might cost Obama- not the Presidency at all and the impact of this mega storm makes it positive that the world will observe a presidential election where the champion gets winning a very fewer votes than the losing concern! Reflections- through the corridors of light ! II

Reflections

Some time ago I had written a piece on remembering things you value and even those you do not. All such experiences aggregate themselves into your persona, what you are and what makes you tick. My father, despite his multifarious responsibilities, interests and even-filled days, had always had time for us and that was quite an immense call since we were five brothers and three sisters. And each one of us, born over a 20-odd years stretch, had their individual share of his attention and time. Since this write-up is not about my father per se, I cannot but be continually amazed at such a luminous blessing that lit the path of our lives. My father used to describe my immediate elder brother as his ’strength’, but chose to say that I was his ‘joy’. Details…

A tale of two banyan trees

aktuhin | 31 October 2012 9:47 am

The first banyan tree was dead: to begin with. It was killed on the black night of 25 March 1971, the night the Pakistani Army unleashed terror on the innocent people of Dhaka. By the time the sun rose, thousands of students in two residential halls of Dhaka University were dead; even the giant banyan tree in front of Arts Faculty building was not spared.

It was under this tree (fondly known as Bawt Tawla) that students assembled and launched countless movements against the military regime of General Ayub Khan, and it was also the place where ASM Abdur Rob first hoisted the flag of Bangladesh on 2 March 1971. Details…

Md.Zahidul Islam Milton | 29 October 2012 9:32 pm

Ethnic Violence in Burma and our Pre-caution

Recent ethnic violence in Burma has spread amongst the different groups over there seriously and it may turn towards the minority Muslims at any time and they may further try to push in Bangladesh border crossing the river ‘NAF’ by boat as they did earlier. No doubt Bangladesh law enforcing agencies has done better to push them back keeping the law and order situation as usual.

The recent tension in Burma should take into the consideration and monitor it sharply through diplomatic channel as well as the different media too in order to update the matter. Different pressure groups and fundamentalists may take the opportunity to make chaos in the mud water inside and outside the country. So, need to increase the vigilance about the issue in advance to avoid any kind of massacre in future. Details…
