This is a great pleasure for me that I am writing this blog standing on the campus of International Islamic University Malaysia. Now more than 300 students from Bangladesh are studying here and they are doing really great jobs.
SRC (Student representative council), is the most desired community to join, is now dominated by a strong number of Bangladeshi students. Brother Mohiuddin and Brother Noman Boshir are the greatest examples.
Last February the Model Organisation of the Islamic Conference (MOIC) was organised by SRC and the president of this conference was Brother Mohiuddin, who is a Bangladeshi. In fact there are plenty of examples where Bangladeshi brothers are playing important roles for IIUM as well as Malaysia.
Last semester almost 50 new students, including undergraduate, post-graduate and PHD, have enrolled at this university. Not only the low session fee, but also a good quality of education and environment are the reasons why students from Bangladesh are increasing day by day.
There is a great opportunity for Bangladeshi students to develop their career and utilising their potential. We wish them good luck and hope that they will never let their motherland down.
