I want to thank Mr. Tawfiq-E-Elahi, the energy advisor of our honourable Premier as he rightly criticised those who opposed to set up rental power plants since basically there was no alternative at all. Need not to mention here that we have to avoid the mentality to criticise the government and their activity only in the name of cheaper criticism.
We have to bear in mind that our resources and wealth are limited but our demand is growing like a running horse which is actually very tough to control within our capacity indeed. Without rental power how could it be minimised? Government has taken initiative to reduce the power crisis phase by phase and hope it will be solved gradually. Constructive criticism is good but undue criticism is bad.
Government shouldn’t be forgotten their electoral manifest and still time to recover their image by doing a lot of jobs in a planning way before the next general election which suppose to be held on the beginning of 2014. Corruption is the number one enemy of the democracy. I would strongly request our honorable premier Sheikh Hasina the daughter of the father of the nation to lead the nation as well as the government in an iron hand removing corruption at all levels by which her government can be sworn in again on 2014 in order to fulfill her desire towards digital Bangladesh with a view to her vision 2021.
