Dear Humayun Ahmed, wish you good luck too!

3597793_f260.jpgMen can become immortal by their good deed, age doesn’t matter here and we can see a number of examples of greatest heroes already if we go through history, who are still alive in our memory. I’m a bit lucky because in my student life I got the chances of meeting many of the best talented teachers and Humayun Ahmed is one of them.

I met him in 1992 at Khulna in a publishing ceremony of a book named ‘Boomerang’ written by one of my friend’s father Captain (Rtd) Nuruddin. There I was the moderator/liaise officer of the function and got the opportunity to be in closely associate with the noted writer. On that very day Humayun Ahmed given autograph on my diary and wrote “Milton, wish you good luck”. After 20 years really want to return the same cordial wish to him saying “Dear Humayun Ahmed, wish you good luck too and god bless you.”

Thank you so much Md.Zahidul Islam for sharing your special moment with Humayun Ahmed Sir.

He is the ‘One Man Army’ in our bangla literature. Bangladesh will miss him.

One of his song always knock in my heart.

“Morile Kandis Na Amar Dai”

I am still crying. How could be possible? Because I love him very much.
